Ernest Frankenstein continues to unravel the dark legacy of his ill-fated brother, Victor, and must decide if he should fight against or join his brother’s unholy creation, who views Ernest as family. Locked away in an isolated Arctic prison, the fate of five Wild Rose clan women prisoners, including their people’s powerful yet troubled young Seer, Baseria, hangs in the balance.

Meanwhile, Ernest’s mysterious sister-in-law, Abrielle, a French Imperial spy, has sworn to rescue her niece, Tara Frankenstein, from a band of gypsy kidnappers. To do so, she’ll have to outmaneuver Imperial agents, earn the trust of Jack Clerval, and dare befriending an enemy whose betrayal could destroy them all.

As hope fades new forces of darkness will arise and loyalty to family will be put to the ultimate test. Haunted and deeply divided, she and Ernest’s choices will summon the future of humanity and in the end determine the paths of their very souls.

This is book two in Pete Planisek's continuation trilogy that takes place after Mary Shelley's classic novel. The Frankenstein family is far from boring as Planisek's second novel proves once again he is the right person to tell this tale.

Ernest is still reeling with frustration and confusion as to what he thinks is right and what he should do. His brother Victor left him quite a lot to deal with. His sister in law has so many secrets of her own it leaves you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. The ending only left me wanting more and wishing the third book was already out so I can find out what happens!

I highly recommend to any horror/Thriller fans!
Thank you Mr. Planisek for sending me a copy for a fair and honest review!

Frankenstein Soul's Echo (Book 2 of 3) The Resurrection Trinity by Pete Planisek

Another riveting read in Frankenstein Soul's Echo. I love this story with all it's characters and intertwining tale. While this book is quite long, the story is very interesting and I'm invested in the characters and their outcomes. Book 2 leaves us with an explosive ending, and I can't wait to read the outcome in book 3.

I give Frankenstein Souls Echo 5 stars for its Riveting read.
I would recommend this book to horror fans.

A very interesting continuation

Written much in the same feel as the original which is one of my favorite novels. Very complex with emotions running high. I can’t wait until the next one comes out

When you see this book--you might automatically think--oh no, not another monster book, but this is so much different than that.

I read and enjoyed the first book in this series and am greatly impressed by the way the author has chosen to continue on with his writing. This novel is full of intrigue, mystery and continues to tell the story from the first book, expanding on it with crucial details and interesting new characters.

Pete Planisek is good at detail and seamlessly interweaving multiple story lines into one tightly written plot. His ability to control a large cast of characters without making any of them seem flat is impressive, and is definitely a strength in this novel. I liked the story here enough that I went back and reread the first book again, and I think this is a series that you will want to keep as a permanent part of your collection.

This is the kind of book that you will want to keep reading once you start and will keep you turning pages long into the night. I am looking forward to the third book in the series, and hope to see this author continue writing for many years.

Since I am a fan of the Mary Shelley tome, I am excited my friend Pete is writing this trilogy as a "what if" continuation of the original. In this second volume, the characters all endure excruciating hardships, yet interspersed are moments of sheer poetry as well as a little much-appreciated humor. It's a wild ride.

The second book in a trilogy that continues Mary Shelley's original Frankenstein story, this is a wonderful ride that travels the globe connecting the ensemble of characters. The pacing and stride at the end kept me banging for more and looking forward to book 3. The Resurrection Trinity sets up the pieces for what, I hope, is a great culmination to this trilogy.
