How to Make Old Fashioned Meatloaf in an Oven

Growing up, one of my favorite meals Momma would make is her meatloaf. It is delicious and easier to make than you would think! I have already made this in my Crock Pot and Instant Pot, so I thought I would also show you how to make this in your oven as well!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 cup oats or cracker crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 cup ketchup plus extra for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees

  • Mix together all of your ingredients in a bowl

  • Spray your baking pan with cooking spray

  • Press your ground beef mixture into your baking pan and make a groove down the middle

  • Top with as little or much ketchup as you desire

  • Cook for approximately 30 minutes, until the center of your meatloaf reaches safe internal cooking temperature, turning halfway through cooking time if your oven does not cook evenly
