Tennessee baseball is in win-now mode.
The No. 1 Vols (54-12) face Evansville (39-25) on Sunday (6 p.m. ET, ESPNU) at Lindsey Nelson Stadium in the third game of the Knoxville Super Regional. The winner will go to the College World Series, while the loser's season will concldue.
UT is seeking a third trip to Omaha in the past four seasons under coach Tony Vitello. It also is seeking to avoid losing in super regionals twice in three years as the No. 1 overall seed.

Zander Sechrist gets the first out of the seventh inning before being lifted by Tony Vitello. The Lindsey Nelson Stadium crowd gives him a loud ovation as he walks off, and Sechrist acknowledges it.
Nate Snead comes in to pitch and gets the final two out in order in the seventh. The Vols are six outs from Omaha.

Zander Sechrist has thrown six innings without allowing an earned run and is at 100 pitches. He's going to be a major part of Tennessee's CWS run should the Vols hold on tonight.

Tennessee has now hit seven home runs after Cal Stark's three-run home run in the fifth inning. The Vols have scored 12 unanswered runs.

The Vols lead 9-1 as Billy Amick hits the longest homer of the game to center. It's a two-run home run. Nick Smith is out of the game.

Zander Sechrist induces a groundout from Simon Scherry to end the inning with the bases loaded. Evansville loaded up the bases after a single, E4 and a ball that lined off of Sechrist's leg.
Sechrist has not yet been charged a run but has thrown 76 pitches through four innings.
