Come along as I show you all my favorite goodies from Azure Standard. Eating healthy doesn’t have to be expensive. Thankfully, Azure offers great prices on organic, real food.
As you may know, I’m a naturally frugal person (which is how we were able topay off our old house in less than 5 yearsandpay cash for our new farmhouse).
I hate spending money unnecessarily, but one thing that we do spend some money on is healthy food. This is really an investment into our future.
I do a lot of our shopping at Aldi, and I also try to purchase many things locally, likemilkand honey. Yet, there are still many gaps that I can’t fill between these two places.
Buying in bulk is a great way to get a good deal on products, and it’s usually better for the environment (less packaging).
Azure Standard is one of my favorite ways to shop online. The prices are great, and they can ship directly to my door (you can also pick up at a drop-off store).
Below, I’m going to share with you some of my favorite items to buy from Azure, as well as some things I would buy if I didn’t already have a good local source.

Why I Love Azure Standard:
- Affordable.
- High standard of products: most of the products they offer are organic.
- Convenient: I’m a busy mom, and having healthy groceries delivered right to my door takes one thing off my plate.
How Does Azure Standard Work?
Azure is just like a big warehouse store, like Costco or Sam’s Club, but without a storefront and without paying for a membership. They connect you directly to local farmers, including their own farm which allows them to offer such great prices.
To get started, just create an account and start shopping.
After you’ve created your order, you have the option to ship directly to your house (my preferred option, but you have to pay for shipping) or pick up at a local drop sight (usually free). Choose a drop site that is closest to you, and then pick up all your food conveniently at one place.
What I Buy From Azure Standard
Dairy Products
Our weekly trips to our local dairy are one of our family’s favorite errands. But the delicious cream skimmed off the top of the milk to make sour cream, butter, and the best homemade yogurt is a hot commodity, only available very rarely (and first come first serve). When it’s not available, Azure offers many raw and grass-fed organic dairy products.
Cheese: We love thisraw cheddar cheese. It is a great deal for a raw grass-fed product.
Milk: I know having a good source of milk can be difficult. We love our local source of raw milk, but if that isn’t available, Azure Standard offers grass-fed A2/A2 milk.
Grains
Bulk grains – These might be for grinding, like wheat berries, einkorn berries, rye berries, etc.
Popcorn – For popping as a snack, or you can use your grain mill to makecorn bread.
Quinoa – This is technically a seed, and it can be cooked for easy weeknight meals likehealthy quinoa nachos,or thisbeef spinach quinoa skillet.
Einkorn products: If you are wanting to switch to more einkorn products, but aren’t wanting to makepasta from scratch, you can try Jovial’s variety of einkorn products. From crackers to pasta to cookies, it’s easy to incorporate our favorite heirloom wheat.
Nuts & Dried Fruit
I love buying nuts in bulk, and through Azure, you get a better price and excellent quality. Always having them on hand makes it easy to whip up somehomemade granola, fruit and nut bars, or theserustic granola cookies.
Dates– For the bestdate sweetened ice cream.
Other dried fruits– Cherries, raisins, figs, mangos (one of my favorite treats), cranberries, blueberries, etc.
Baking Goods & Supplies:
Parchment paper and cupcake liners
Honey: We usually try to stock up on local, but if you can’t find a local source, Azure has a great price on honey.
Cane sugar: To make water kefir soda and kombucha.
Coconut sugar: This is usually my go-to for baking when honey can’t be used.
Oils & Vinegar:
Avocado oil is my preferred cooking oil, since it has a high smoke point. I also love using it to make homemade mayo.
Balsamic vinegar– If you use a lot of this, you can save a ton by getting the gallon jug.
Coconut aminos – They do also have soy sauce, but we prefer to avoid soy products.
Animal Feed:
Chicken Feed: This Organic Scratch And Peck Chicken Food is a great deal. It is $3 cheaper than at a local feed store.
Organic goat feed: They have premixed organic goat feed already available. I plan to try my hand at creating my own goat feed, using ingredients available through Azure.
That is just a sneak peak into some of my favorite things to order from Azure. If you have your own favorites, please leave a comment below!
Don’t forget produce!
Azure always has excellent deals on seasonal produce. This changes with the seasons, so just check out Azure’s homepage, and usually the best deals will be featured there.
Right now, as I write this, cherries are in season and on sale!
